In 2010, the athletes of SpokesWomen Syndicate raced in over 200 cities across 12 states with support from great sponsors: Performance Bicycle, Louis Garneau, DeFeet, nuun and others. We garnered many local race victories, top 15 National Race Calendar (NRC) finishes as well as elite and masters national championships on the road, mountain bike and in cyclocross.  

Additionally, SpokesWomen Syndicate gave back to the female cycling community by hosting several women’s bike skills clinics for beginner cyclists and team camps for collegiate cyclists from Indiana University. We are back in 2011 with largely the
same team roster, and we hope to do even more.

This year SpokesWomen Syndicate atheletes will race under the title sponsorship of PARcycles. PARcycles.com is an online bike distributor owned by North Carolina-based cyclists. As part of our commitment to PARcycles, we will co-host the Sanford Criterium on May 1. Our goal in co-hosting this event is to improve the field size and competition-level of the women’s’ races at this very popular event. Money raised from the Sanford Criterium will be donated to the North Carolina Children’s Hospital.

Mix1, an all-natural protein drink company, will also be sponsoring SpokesWomen Syndicate in 2011. The mission of Mix1 falls in line with our own.  Mix1 will help SpokesWomen promote athletic performance in women’s cycling by providing our team with functional nutrition. As female athletes, we are uniquely aware of the importance of proper nutrition to achieve athletic success. Look for SpokesWomen Syndicate and the Mix1 promotional tent at many cycling events this spring.

The athletes of SpokesWomen Syndicate would also like to extend a
