Current: Raleigh, NC

Profession: PhD student in genetics at North Carolina State University

Megan discovered road riding after her first year of college as a cross training option from her division III running injuries, and she was hooked.  By the end of her junior year of college, she’d hung up her running shoes and started racing bikes in the collegiate cycling season.  Megan has raced in the Midwest and around the Rockies and looks forward to testing her legs in the speedy races of the southeast.  In 2011, Megan looks forward to balancing racing with her research, tempering her early race enthusiasm, having fun, and beating her husband in as many town-line sprints as possible, which is quite the challenge.
